Steven Majano is a first-generation Dominican born and raised in the City of Newburgh, NY. He is a proud product of the Newburgh Enlarged City School District and the NFA Class of 2014.

Throughout his career, Mr. Majano has worked for a variety of elected officials most recently working as a Constituent Advocate for former Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney from 2020 -2022. Currently, he is working for RECAP as a case manager assisting families with food insecurities. 

During his free time, he has served as a member of the City of Newburgh Democratic Committee. He has also volunteered with We Are Newburgh. He is a familiar face in the community who you'll find giving his time to the people.

Steven just finished his 1st year on the board and now serves as Secretary. He continues the committment to ensuring that the people of Newburgh have a path to homeownership.
