Beverly Mennerich
A lifelong Town of Newburgh resident, Beverly has long been involved in community affairs. She graduated Newburgh Free Academy, Mount Saint Mary College and SUNY New Paltz. She is a retired teacher from the Newburgh Enlarged City School district. After retiring, she extended her career at MSMC supervising student teachers.
Beverly began volunteering with Habitat Newburgh shortly after retiring. She worked on site for a number of years and also served on the Walk Committee, the Faith Committee, and Family Support where she continues to serve as a family advocate. She is committed to working to ensure that home ownership can be a reality for qualified families.
In addition to her Habitat Newburgh board membership, Beverly also serves on the Alumni Council of MSMC and is a Trustee at Gardnertown UMC. She enjoys her Book Clubs, singing in the choir at her church, traveling with her husband Ken, playing bridge and especially being with her grandsons. She and Ken have two children and three grandchildren.
