Anthony Grice
Born and raised in Newburgh, I come from a family with deep community roots and understand firsthand many of the challenges local youth face. With the support of mentors and programs like the Boys & Girls Club, I went on to earn degrees from SUNY Orange’s Newburgh Campus, Virginia Union University, Mount Saint Mary College, and SUNY New Paltz, and I am a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated. For more than 22 years, I have served the Newburgh Enlarged City School District in a variety of roles, including helping secure several impactful grants, and I currently teach reading at an elementary school.
I have been married for 25 years, have three children, and am active in my church and community. My lifelong connection to Newburgh and dedication to service continue to guide my commitment to supporting families and helping strengthen opportunities across our city.
