Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh is offering an opportunity for a veteran homeowner living in the City of Newburgh to receive assistance with essential porch repairs. Only one qualified applicant will be selected based on income eligibility and project feasibility. This initiative honors those who served by helping improve safety, accessibility, and comfort at home.
The selected porch repair project is expected to begin in late October or early November to coincide with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh’s annual Veterans Build Day. This special event brings local veterans together to work on a project for a fellow veteran—an opportunity to build community, give back, and honor those who have served.
