 family for a meaningful and fun day of service in our community.  \n\nWhat
  to Know:\n\nThis event is rain or shine.\nParticipants must check in at S
 afe Harbors and sign a waiver before hitting the streets. \nHeavy duty glo
 ves and garbage bags will be provided.  \nPlease note: this is NOT a bulk 
 pickup day for large items.  \nHosted by Safe Harbors of the Hudson in col
 laboration with the City of Newburgh\, Taylor-Montgomery LLC\, and local p
 artners\, the Community Cleanup has had a real and measurable impact over 
 the years: at the first event in 2011\, volunteers removed 17.49 tons of g
 arbage from city streets\; in 2025\, the total hauled away was only 5.6 to
 ns–a 68% decrease. Help us make 2026 our best year yet!
