ABOUT OUR FUNDING
Habitat Newburgh relies on the generosity of individuals, corporations, faith groups, foundations, and community organizations. We are not funded by HFHI. The government funding we recieve primarily underwrites infrastructure and environmental costs as well as homeowner grants that help make homes affordable.
Habitat serves as the general contractor on all its rehabilitation and new constructions projects and does what no other business or government entity can do -- leverage every dollar donated through planned use of volunteer labor and donated materials. For ever dollar recieved, at least 85 cents goes direcetly to our program costs.
Your support produces tangible results - a safe, decent and affordable home for a hardworking family in need. With your help, Habitat Newburgh succeeds in building strong neighborhoods through homeownership - the most basic building block of any vibrant community.
