Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh builds homes and community in Newburgh, New York, a small city on the Hudson River about 60 miles north of New York City.


Habitat Newburgh is dedicated to providing decent, affordable housing in partnership with local, hard-working families in need. Reaching across religious, cultural, and racial boundaries, we seek to restore a sense of community with the common goal of strong neighborhoods and dignity through homeownership.

 

Volunteering

Habitat Newburgh currently works 8am – 1pm every Wednesday and Saturday, rain or shine, at several different locations. To sign-up to volunteer on a workday, go to our VolunteerHub page (link to right). Individuals and groups are welcome, but if it's your first time or if your group has 5 or more people, please call beforehand. To find out where we are working, visit our current projects page.
