56 Courtney Ave. - Methodist & Friends Build

This new single family residence, the 2nd house in the City of Newburgh sponsored by local Methodist Churches and friends, takes the place of a demolished house that had been abandoned for the better part of a decade (pictured below left). The house was built on the footprint of the old structure, and mimics the architectural style of neighboring homes, with a second story and a large, welcoming front porch. House Captains and long time volunteers Ken Mennerich, Bill Murphy, and Don Small worked tirelessly with other dedicated volunteers and partner families to build what is now the home of the Cordero Family.
